Instagram, TikTok or YouTube: Where Does Your Campaign Belong?
Publishing the same cut on all three is the most common mistake. Each platform is watched differently and rewards a different format.
Instagram: trust and craft
Your brand appearing on a recognised profile reads as an endorsement. Instagram is still the strongest place for ambassadorships and long-running partnerships. Production quality has to clear a high bar here — sloppy work looks foreign on the grid.
TikTok: reach and informality
A polished commercial dies on TikTok; viewers spot an ad instantly and scroll. What works is content shot in the person's own register, where the script doesn't show. Brands willing to let go of control here get far more reach.
YouTube: when you have a lot to explain
If your product needs explaining — tech, automotive, finance — a YouTube integration does what the other two can't. Viewers stay for minutes and actually understand it. YouTube content also keeps being found through search for years.
Don't post one cut in three places
Cutting one shoot three different ways multiplies reach without inflating the budget. Plan it before the shoot day: a different frame, length and opening for each platform.
